Houtzager Strijker heet vanaf 1 januari 2018 Clairfort. U kunt ons dan ook vinden op de website Clairfort.nl

Houtzager Strijker heeft zich de afgelopen 12 jaren bewezen als een hoogwaardig kantoor van advocaten en projectjuristen in de sector Bouwrecht, Ruimtelijke Ordening & Vastgoed. Daarmee zijn we ook per 1 januari 2018 door gegaan, onder de nieuwe naam Clairfort.

Die nieuwe naam houdt een verbreding en toegevoegde waarde in. Vanaf 1 januari 2018 zijn we de samenwerking aan gegaan met een tiental advocaten gespecialiseerd op andere rechtsgebieden. Daarmee is de praktijk verbreed naar Intellectuele Eigendom, Fusies & Overnames, Ondernemingsrecht en Arbeidsrecht.

Op het gebied van Bouwrecht, Ruimtelijke Ordening & Vastgoed blijft onze dienstverlening zoals u die van ons gewend bent. Met dezelfde mensen en met dezelfde professionaliteit en deskundigheid. Ook onder de naam Clairfort blijven wij ook gevestigd aan het Zusterplein te Zeist.

Contract Management

As soon as a client and a contractor sign a contract, their mutual obligations have to be guided via the agreed contractual stipulations to a satisfactory outcome for both parties. In general, a contract management system, for example, consultancy management, is used to do this. Risk control and system-based contract management methods are also frequently used, usually in combination with integrated contract forms, such as Design & Build (UAV-GC 2005).

Settlement of claims

In its project lawyer role, HoutzagerStrijker has extensive experience in contract management, which we believe includes conducting process assessments and audits, evaluation and acceptance of design and build documents as well as handling requests for change, changes in the scope and the settlement of claims.
With our way of working, we endeavour to settle claims within the respective contract as much as possible, thus avoiding escalation to a formal dispute. Because we already become operationally involved in the preparation and implementation of a project, any differences in how the client and the contractor interpret the contractual terms and conditions can be identified at an early stage. This can also prevent escalation to an actual dispute.
