Geachte bezoeker van de website,

Houtzager Strijker heet vanaf 1 januari 2018 Clairfort.

Procurement law

Procurement law has been going through a massive upheaval for several years. Dutch regulations and the European directives on which they are based prescribe how (semi-) government bodies, public-law entities and companies operating in special sectors (utilities) have to put out certain types of contract out to tender. The regulations are complicated and raise a large number of questions: does a contract have to be put out for tender within the EU, or not? And if it does, what is the most efficient form of tendering in relation to the type of contract? And how can you avoid becoming lost in the maze of different procedures?

Expert support

Bidders who believe they have been treated unfairly by contracting authorities also need expert support and advice on the legal measures they can take, if no other options are available, to secure the contract previously denied them.

HoutzagerStrijker has extensive practical experience in this area of law and assists contracting entities and bidders in (preparing) the tendering process and represents the parties concerned if legal proceedings have to be instigated.

Other areas of law in which HoutzagerStrijker is active:

Tenancy law
Commercial tenancy law
Residental tenancy law
Construction law
Public-private partnership
Contract law
physical envorinment laws
Real estate and property law
